Syngas Production

Syngas is a gaseous mixture that contains varying amounts of carbon monoxide and hydrogen.

Syngas can be used in the Fischer Tropsch process to produce diesel, or converted into methane and dimethyl ether in catalytic processes.

Ceramatec is exploring ways to make syngas that is more energy efficient and less capital intensive at industrial scale. For this we have developed a ceramic Ionic Transport Membrane (ITM) technology.
