During the past sixteen years Ceramatec has been developing fuel cell technology using ceramic membranes coated with electrodes to produce electricity from a variety of fuels.

Ceramatec has recently been awarded several US government contracts to develop and commercialize Fuel Cells by improving the electrical power density at a lower commercial cost.

Fuel Cells, produced by Ceramatec, have operated on a hydrogen, natural gas, and diesel. These Fuel Cells are conducive to off-grid locations making them ideal for military, remote locations, well-heads, and third world locations lacking an electrical grid connection.

In addition, fuel cells offer a true opportunity for distributed power; such as in buildings, residential co-ops, and even single-family homes.
